Mustapha Dichari



Mustapha Dichari serves as West Physics’ Service Specialist in the Beirut, Lebanon field office. In this role, Mr. Dichari answers client and prospective client questions about West Physics’ full portfolio of diagnostic medical physics services, and also helps to manage the marketing and delivery of services in the MENA (Middle East and North Africa) region. In addition to his role at West Physics, Mr. Dichari is also a Senior Product Specialist working for West Physics’ partner company, Mena Medical Development – MMD (offshore) SAL. In this role, Mr. Dichari develops business line solutions related to Radiation Safety and Quality Assurance, and other niche solutions from many eminent leading international companies.

Mr. Dichari’s background includes experience as a biomedical engineer at Labib Medical Center, where he educated staff on the proper operation of medical equipment. Earlier in his career, Mr. Dichari was a laboratory assistant for a biomedical engineering design course at Rafik Hariri University, and he was a biomedical engineer trainee at Saida Governmental University Hospital.

Mr. Dichari was born in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia and completed his grade school and high school in Riyadh, and then pursued his collegiate education in Lebanon, his family home. In his spare time, Mr. Dichari enjoys spending time in the gymnasium and on the basketball court.

Wassim S. Shmaitilly



Wassim S. Shmaitilly serves as West Physics’ Regional Director, Middle East and North Africa, in the Beirut, Lebanon field office. In this role, Mr. Shmaitilly manages the Beirut location for West Physics, including all aspects of business development and client service delivery. He is responsible for the promotion of West Physics’ full portfolio of diagnostic medical physics services in the MENA (Middle East and North Africa) region. In addition to his role at West Physics, Mr. Shmaitilly is also the Chief Executive Officer (CEO) for West Physics’ partner company, Mena Medical Development – MMD (offshore) SAL. In this role, Mr. Shmaitilly provides leadership and strategic vision in partnership with prestigious healthcare companies throughout the region. Mr. Shmaitilly is also currently a member of the External Academic Advisory Board at the College of Engineering – Rafik Hariri University.

Prior to his leadership roles at West Physics and MMD, Mr. Shmaitilly was a Product Specialist for the MENA region at KARL STORZ Endoscopy – a world leader in the manufacture of endoscopic equipment and surgical instrumentation. Prior to his tenure at KARL STORZ, Mr. Shmaitilly was a member of the sales force of Gulf Medical Co. Ltd. – one of the largest distributors of medical equipment and supplies in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia.

Mr. Shmaitilly, a Lebanese native, is married with three boys, all of whom like playing football and skiing with their father.

Gregg Daversa, R.T. (R)(CT)(MR)

Gregg Daversa


Mr. Daversa’s experience base in the imaging industry spans over 25 years and encompasses a multitude of progressively more complex and challenging assignments. Prior to joining West Physics, Mr. Daversa worked at one of the nation’s largest outpatient and mobile imaging organizations, Insight Health Corp. Mr. Daversa started his career as a technologist, and then moved on to roles as an operations manager, clinical and didactic instructor, Director of Regulatory & Quality Improvement, and finally as Vice President of Clinical and Technology Services. During his years at Insight, he made significant advancements in the performance of the multimillion-dollar operation by building business relationships, upgrading technology, and implementing best practices for safety protocols and regulatory compliance.

In his most senior role at Insight, Mr. Daversa managed technology assessment, equipment procurement, and regulatory program for 60 fixed imaging sites and 100 mobile MRI & PET/CT units operating in 25 states. He identified opportunities to expand revenue generation and supported the business development team for mobile and imaging center acquisitions.

Mr. Daversa is originally from Jamestown, NY.
